Bouncer kills man at Lagos lub
Lagos State Police Command has apprehended Kingsley Otti, a club bouncer, following allegations that he fatally stabbed a suspected hoodlum during an altercation at a lounge on Ago Palace Way, Okota.
In a statement on Wednesday, command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed that the incident occurred around 3:30 am on Monday.
The statement read, “On Monday, at about 11:30 am, the manager of a club and lounge, located at Ago Palace Way, Ago-Okota, reported to the Ago-Okota Division that on the same day at about 3:30 am, a yet-to-be-identified adult male, suspected to be a hoodlum, was allegedly stabbed by the club’s bouncer, one Kingsley Oti, during an altercation between them at the club’s car park.
“He was rescued and rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Mushin, where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.”

According to the police, detectives visited the scene and later the hospital, where photographs were taken and the corpse inspected.
The body has been transferred to Mainland General Hospital Morgue, Yaba, pending autopsy.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing as Otti remains in police custody.
