Gunmen abduct Rivers revenue director
Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Monday abducted a director of the Rivers State Board of Internal Revenue Service, Aribibia John Fubara.
The Guardian gathered that Fubara was abducted in a daring and brazen attack, at approximately 8:20 pm on Saturday, August 24.
Sources said the six unknown gunmen, arriving on a speedboat at Okirika Waterfront near Marine Base in Port Harcourt City Council, shot sporadically into the air before whisking the victim away.
Fubara, also a Knight of Saint Christopher in the Anglican Communion, remains unaccounted for, with his captors yet to establish contact with his family or the government.
