Police arrest 123 suspected fraudster in Delta
The Delta State Police Command said it has arrested 123 suspected fraudsters in an estate in Warri, following a raid by local police with the assistance of military personnel.
The Public Relations Officer, Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe, disclosed this in a video via his X, formerly Twitter, account.
He explained that the suspects, many of whom were young people aged between 17 and 20, allegedly operated from what they called “HK,” meaning “Hustlers Kingdom,” where they were being trained in various fraudulent schemes under the guise of learning forex trading and cryptocurrency.

Their operation was exposed after one of the victims, who had been brought to the estate from Kaduna, contacted his mother using the same laptop given to him to perpetrate internet fraud. His mother promptly alerted a family member in the military, leading to a swift raid on the estate during which the suspects were arrested.
“This situation reflects the alarming trend of internet fraud among our youth. We must not tolerate this in our society. It undermines our values and brings shame to our nation. We urge parents to be vigilant and take action when they notice suspicious behavior in their wards,” Edafe added.
