Verydarkman releases new ‘Bobrisky recording’ of ‘bribing’ EFCC officials
Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as Verydarkman has released a new audio recording of a call allegedly made by Bobrisky during his detention.
In the recording, Bobrisky allegedly disclosed bribing officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to dismiss his money laundering charges.
Verydarkman shared the new recording on his Instagram account, just days after releasing the first recording. The latest recording is said to have been made on May 16, 2024, a time when Bobrisky was in EFCC custody.
In the audio, Bobrisky allegedly told a friend that he had his phone while in detention and wished to keep the information confidential, hence, his decision not to respond to people sending him messages.
He disclosed that the EFCC had been investigating him, including his financial activities and bank accounts, and that he had to pay a sum of money to have the money laundering charges dropped.

In the purported recording, the crossdresser also claimed that her “godfather” alongside the Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Haliru Nababa, ensured she served the six-month sentence in a private apartment and not in prison.
Speaking on why he shared the latest recording, VeryDarkMan, said he heard a lawsuit will be filed against him.
Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Femi Falana recently indicated that a lawsuit may be filed to exonerate his name from the saga.
Verdarkman had accused Falana of allegedly seeking a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for N10 million.
The lawyer labelled his claims untrue and insisted on an apology from Verydarkman.
“Infantile radicalism. Some of our young people are not prepared to look at the provisions of the law with respect to the law on defamation. They simply go out there to embarrass people,” Falana said on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
“In this case, we are not going to file a criminal complaint. We will not be pushed to do that. I am currently defending a couple of journalists who are standing trial either under the Cyber Crime Act or Criminal Libel.
“What I am going to do is to embark on civil proceedings with a view to restoring our integrity – my own name and that of my son so that nobody will simply rush to the social media to defame any Nigerian.
“We want to make an example in this case. We have asked for a retraction and an apology rendered to us and that is not too much and if we do not have a retraction and apology acceptable to us and accepted by us, we are certainly going to initiate civil proceedings in the High Court.”
