Police clear CP Uche of falsifying retirement date
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has dismissed as false and misleading the allegations published by Sahara Reporters, claiming that Commissioner of Police (CP) Uche Ifeanyi Henry, Director of the National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC), falsified his retirement date.
In an official statement from his office, the police clarified that CP Uche is scheduled to retire in two years, as per official records, and described the story as entirely baseless and without merit.
“The claims against CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry are unfounded and should be disregarded. His retirement date remains intact according to established records,” the statement read.
The police urged the public to dismiss the misleading report, emphasising its commitment to transparency and professionalism in service.
