The Oke-Ogun youth congress has been scheduled to take place on Friday November 25, 2016 at the Old NYSC Camp ground, Iseyin by 10.00 am.

In a statement yesterday, the organizers of the congress, Oke-Ogun Summit of Honours’ Team & Friends noted that the focus of the event is to encourage the Oke-Ogun virtues among the youths of the region.

“It is a call for deliberations on how the youths can constructively get integrated to productive government policies. It is all about becoming great and productive amidst all odds in this century.”

According to the statement, the congress would also address various patriotic ways of doing things differently to collectively develop the region, Oyo State and the nation.

“The development of youths, particularly in Oke-Ogun is beyond mere wishful thinking. It must take a deliberate and concerted effort of every one. It demands a qualitative change process and not frivolous comparative desires.”
