Founder and CEO of Koil Creations, Oluwaseun Kuforiji, said his establishment aims to redefine the fashion landscape through its innovative projects and dedication to celebrating African heritage.

He said Koil Creations Enterprise has culturally inspired fashion brand with roots in Nigeria and the UK to make it become synonymous with the fusion of African traditions and modern designs, carving a niche for itself in the global fashion industry.

“We want our designs to not just be seen but to be felt, to evoke a sense of pride and connection to culture. It’s about more than making clothes—it’s about creating art that resonates across generations and borders,” he said in a statement.

He Koil Creations has achieved significant milestones since its inception with the establishment of a branch in the UK and partnerships with institutions like the University of Lincoln’s Students Enterprise.

He disclosed that the brand is also gearing up for a groundbreaking attempt to set a Guinness World Record in 2025 with its Sew-A-Thon, a sewing marathon designed to highlight craftsmanship and creativity on a global scale.

Kuforiji explained that, “Our Sew-A-Thon project isn’t just about breaking records. It’s a statement about the power of dedication, innovation, and cultural pride. Through initiatives like this, we’re not just showcasing African artistry but elevating it to new heights.”

He said the company’s training and mentorship programs have provided aspiring fashion entrepreneurs with the tools to succeed in an ever-evolving industry.

“We believe that knowledge shared is knowledge multiplied,” Kuforiji emphasized. “When we empower others, we strengthen the foundation of the industry itself. By nurturing talent, we’re not only creating a legacy for Koil Creations but also contributing to the growth of the global fashion community.”

He said Koil Creations “envisions becoming a global leader in fashion while maintaining its cultural roots. The company is committed to expanding its presence in key fashion capitals, adopting sustainable practices, and leading the charge in cultural and ethical representation in fashion.

“Our vision is clear: to become a beacon of creativity and culture,” Kuforiji concluded. “We want Koil Creations to be a name synonymous with innovation, quality, and cultural pride. The journey has just begun, and we’re excited to see how far this mission will take us.”

Having done a dissertation on the Sustainability of African fashion in the United Kingdom during his Masters in International Business at the University of Lincoln, Kuforiji said Koil Creations is poised to continue making waves in the fashion industry while remaining a true ambassador of African heritage on the global stage.
