Private jet with VIPs on board crash-lands in Ibadan
A private jet with about 10 persons including very important personalities crash-landed in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday.
Our correspondent gathered that the incident happened at about 11:00 am at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport.
However, there was no death or casualty recorded in the incident.
According to reports, the jet with registration number, N580KR missed the runway before heading into the bush nearby.
Firefighters and emergency officials from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) were already at the scene.
Confirming the incident, spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Carol Adekotujo, said it was a private plane from Abuja.
She added that the jet landed safely but overshot the runway.
