Soroptimists give palliatives to Lagos children’s hospital
The Ikoyi Club of Soroptimist International, led by its President, Mrs. Helen Majemite, on Wednesday, visited Massey Children’s Hospital (MSCH), Lagos, where it donated cartons of noodles, bottled water, disinfectants and other relief materials to the hospital.
The hospital’s Medical Director, Dr. Bimbola Mabogunje, expressed gratitude to the organisation and its members for the gesture.
Soroptimist International, a women’s voluntary service organisation working to enrich the lives of women and the girl-child, enjoys consultative status with the United Nations (UN).
