As part of its First Provincial Evangelisation Outreach and Retreat holding at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Ikeja, from February 12- 16, 2025, the Apostolate of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, Lagos Archdiocese, on Friday consecrated New Devotees to the Apostolate.

According to the group, the consecration is a deeper call to holiness, repentance and reparation, which is at the centre of the Precious Blood Devotion.

Other calls to the Devotion, the group said, are Calls to Gethsemane Hour of Prayer, which holds every Thursday 11pm-Friday 3am; monthly third Friday Reparation, yearly September Reparation and Seal Hour, which holds on Fridays from noon-3pm.

“Through this Devotion, Jesus Christ is calling mankind to return to him and consecrate their lives to His Precious Blood to be able to withstand the terrible times that will befall mankind as a result of the sins of the world,” the group noted in a statement.

The Visionary and Leader of the group, Rev. Bro. Barnabas Nwoye, has been piloting the entire five-day event.

The group evangelised at Oshodi, Ladipo, Trade Fair, Alaba International, Ikotun Market and Lagos Island  markets on Thursday. On Friday, they evangelised at Computer Village, Ipodo, Ogba Market and Aluminium Village.

The outreach will continue on Saturday at Ifo Market, Agege Market, Yaba, Ipaja, Ayobo and Ketu, and will be rounded up on Sunday at St. John the Evangelist, Ladipo, Oshodi; St. Jude Mafoluku and Our Lady Health of the Sick, Onipetesi, Mangoro.
