Taraba governor loses sister after armed robbers’ attack
Atsi Kefas, younger sister of Governor Taraba State governor, Agbu Kefas, has reportedly died four days after she was shot by armed robbers.
A PREMIUM TIMES report disclosed that a reliable family source said she died Monday night in Abuja.
The media outfit said the 44-year-old died in a private hospital in Abuja while receiving treatment from injuries sustained from the robbery attack.
On Thursday morning robbers attacked a vehicle in which Jummai Kefas, the mother of Taraba governor was travelling along Kente Road in Wukari Local Government Area of the state.
Atsi was in the vehicle with her mother.
She was immediately rushed to the Federal University Teaching Hospital, Wukari, before being flown to Abuja for further treatment.
Several well-wishers have reportedly posted condolence messages on social media following the death of the governor’s sister.
