Troops raid four terrorists enclaves in Sambisa forest, kill 12
The Nigerian troops Operation Hadin Kai, have killed 12 Boko Haram terrorists during a raid in insurgents enclave in Sambisa Forest.
The feat was recorded on August 9, 2024, when the troops under the auspices of Operation Hadin Kai, Desert Sanity III, in conjunction with the Hybrid Forces
stormed the terrorists enclaves at Bula Dalo, Bula Marwa, Gaizuwa, and Chongolo general area in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
Intelligence sources told Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama, that troops encountered terrorists in ambush positions and engaged them, forcing the terrorists to withdraw.
The sources said that the operation resulted in the neutralization of 12 terrorists, while one locally made IED, three dane guns, one bicycle, three BHT flags, and medical drugs were recovered.
In addition, troops rescued 16 family members of the terrorists, comprising one adult female and 15 children.
