Two brothers nabbed for alleged illicit drug dealing in Edo
Operatives of the Edo State Police Command had raided a black spot where illicit drugs are sold and arrested two brothers, Adodo Irorehe, ‘m’, 62 and Godwin Isaac Irorehe, ‘m’, 40, owners of the premises.
The spokesperson for the command, SP Moses Joel Yamu, said upon sighting the operatives, Adodo and Godwin opened fire, damaging the vehicle of the officers.
He said the attack was repelled, and the duo was arrested.
The police also recovered one double-barrel gun, one single-barrel gun, four expended cartridges, nine live cartridges, a substance suspected to be Cannabis sativa and other illicit drugs.
