Njoku denies face-off with Soludo
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Edozie Njoku, has said that he has no grudges against the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, contrary to what some persons are saying in some quarters.

Njoku clarified this, at the weekend, after a meeting with members of the national executive of the party held at his ancestral home in Ibeku, Aboh Mbaise Local Council Area of Imo State.

He also disclosed that the National Working Committee (NWC) of APGA has resolved to appoint the founder of the party, Chikwas Okorie, as the Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT), of the party.

Njoku said that the party, under his watch, was pleased with the recent ruling of the Supreme Court, affirming him as the national chairman of the party after a legal tussle with some aggrieved members, urging his enemies to bury the hatchet and allow the party get repositioned as a national political party.

He said: “The National Working Committee has resolved to appoint the founder of the party, Chikwas Okorie, as the Chairman of the BOT.

“We have to organise the party as a responsible party to the people. I am not stopping Charles Soludo from being the Governor of Anambra State. There is no problem with him.

“I have a promise to Nigerians. Once you are given a responsibility, you have to do it well. I am on that mission. APGA can’t fight APGA. We can’t keep fighting. All the elected officers have to wake up for reconciliation. Nigeria is a lawful society.

“We have to understand that a lot of water has gone under the bridge. I am now the National Chairman of the APGA, as pronounced by the Supreme Court.

“We are here for peace. If you like APGA, you should come up with how we will solve these problems. At last, all the problems would be solved. Every person who is offended or aggrieved, we are saying sorry.”
