Obidient Movement launches advocacy campaign for registration in Kano
The Obidient Movement has officially launched its advocacy campaign for registration in Kano State, with the aim of consolidating its efforts towards good governance and social justice in Nigeria.
The campaign was kicked off on September 30, 2024, by Yunusa Tanko, Interim National Coordinator of the Movement, during a public event in Kano.
Tanko, addressing supporters, recounted the birth of the Movement in response to the incompetence of the APC-led government and the hardships experienced by Nigerians.
He noted the pivotal role of the North-West region, which has over 22 million registered voters but continues to suffer from infrastructural neglect and insecurity.
In his speech, Tanko urged Nigerians, regardless of their political affiliation, to register with the Obidient Movement to ensure better coordination and a stronger impact.
He reiterated the Movement’s commitment to fighting corruption, advocating for equity, and fostering a brighter future for the country.
The registration campaign is set to bolster the Movement’s presence nationwide as it continues to push for systemic change.
