Senate President Godswill Akpabio has expressed confidence in Governor Monday Okpebholo’s ability to lead Edo State to unprecedented growth and development, citing his vision, humility, and alignment with the people’s needs as key factors for success.

Speaking during Okpebholo’s visit to his Uyo residence, Akpabio commended the governor’s leadership style and dedication.

“Your Excellency, you are a man of few words but full of action,” Akpabio said.

“Edo people have not misplaced their trust in you. Your leadership is divinely ordained to bring transformation to the state.”

Akpabio highlighted Okpebholo’s early achievements, noting that his administration has already inspired hope within a month of assuming office.

“Your efforts have given the people of Edo a clear insight into the determination and preparedness of your government to bring progress and development,” Akpabio added.

He also stressed the importance of Edo State’s alignment with the Federal Government under the All Progressives Congress (APC), predicting that this partnership would unlock significant opportunities for the state and the South-South region.

“Through this alignment, Edo stands to benefit immensely in terms of representation and development at the national level,” Akpabio said. “Governor Okpebholo’s leadership is a turning point not just for Edo but for the entire South-South.”

“I am here to draw from the wisdom of my leader and seek advice to better serve my people,” Okpebholo said.
