Eezy furniture completes One Africa media office interiors
EEZY OFFICE has announced the completion of the corporate office design of One Africa Media, an international conglomerate of companies including Jobberman Nigeria’s leading internet recruitment and job search Company, ChekiNigeria and Private Property website.
Managing Director of Eezy Office, Mrs. Nwamaka Okoye says the One Africa Media offices project, which has been variously described by professionals as refreshing and ingenious was a defining moment in the company’s operations.
“When One Africa Media came to us and asked if we could design an aesthetic open space office for their staff of mostly young people in their 20’s, we knew we had to come up with something vibrant and authentic. We had to resolve the complexity of the functions, with the simplicity of a modern technology company that is world-class,” she disclosed.
“Stepping in, one gets the first impression of a modern industrial-styled, clean, light open-plan office environment. Polished concrete floors, and exposed cable trays lend an industrial feel. White walls envelope the six hundred square meter space, while the core is clad in warm rustic old brick, adorned with actual road signs a take on Cheki Nigeria, which is an online automobile website,” Okoye said.
Since more businesses are realizing that staffs need to feel relaxed to be creative and productive, Bilqees Galadima an Interior Designer at Eezyoffice.com further explained that this concept was incorporated into the design.
“Wall graphics were strategically positioned with inspirational messages like: “If not now, then when?” A chill zone with structured bean bags and artificial grass adjoins a banquette seating dining area, for staff relaxation. The design also addresses sustainability, as all the meeting and occasional tables are made from recycled wood, with hand lacquered steel bases. One of the table bases is even an old car engine,” she stated.
“To ensure a near perfect design, we also used our unique Eezyoffice.com furniture line including the clean-styled workstations, storage units, call centre stations and executive tables to give that modern office look.”
