In a bid to empower young African talents in the area of music, Eclipse Africa, organiser of Gidi Fest, has unveiled plans to The Dreams Workshop, an extension of The Dreams Project.

Holding today in Lagos, the workshop, which is organised for students in SS3, will feature music mentors such as Chin Okeke (A&R), Chopstix (Producer), DJ Obi (DJ) and singer/songwriter Waje.

The one-day workshop will feature renowned professionals in the music industry, who understand the importance of music as an art form and the incredible force it carries globally. The primary aim is to inspire young aspiring creative minds by creating an atmosphere for artistes to share their experiences and give attendees the chance to learn about the art of making music in a more intimate session.

The workshop will connect the next generation of innovative youth in Nigeria through the universal language of music by creating opportunities they would not typically have access to in the entertainment industry, as well as provide participants with insight and knowledge about how music is created and the best attendees will be selected for a mentorship program with each of the mentors.
