AFTER several years out of public glare, former First Lady and widow of the late President Umaru Musa Yara’Adua, Hajia Turai Yara’ Adua has stepped out again. Turai last Saturday, August 1, visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Hilltop Mansion in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
She was reportedly accompanied to the former president’s residence by businessman, Kenny Martins, met privately with Obasanjo for more than hour before departing in a convoy of three cars.
That was the former First Lady’ visit to President Olusegun Obasanjo since her husband died in office in 2010 after prolonged illness. Those close to her said during the visit, she thanked the former president for finding her late husband a worthy successor.
