The 2024 edition of the Lagos Praise Jamz, was held in Lagos during the week with the wife of Lagos State Governor, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu underscoring the importance of praising God.

She noted that what started as a monthly praise and prayer session some years back, has now evolved into Annual Lagos Praise, a significant statewide event.

“This transformation has fostered unity within the body of Christ and created a profound atmosphere of sincere worship and praise to our God.

“This initiative started as a platform for the First Family, graceful ladies, and members of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), which is also chaired by the First Lady, to come together in collaboration with the five blocs of the Christian Association of Nigeria (C.A.N.), Lagos State Chapter to gather in worship and appreciate God for His faithfulness and loving-kindness and for good governance, peace, and development of Lagos State.”

Quoting the bible, she said praise is fundamental and one of the catalysts that guarantee access to the presence of God.

“Today, it is with great pleasure and honour to present the Lagos Praise 4.0, with the theme; “Sing and praise Him for victory” taken from 2 Chronicles 20:21-22. This edition promises to be exciting as we invited our special needs children from the Pacelli School for the Blind, our senior citizen, Pastor Tao Elshaddai, and Funmi Sax to render special song ministrations.”
