Ahead of the UK premiere and cinema release, the recently released movie, The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai has received a British welcome following the British High Commission in Nigeria hosts of the record-breaking movie at the Deputy British High Commissioner’s residence on December 20 in Lagos.

The intimate, private screening, which was co-hosted by EbonyLife Films, took place just days before the UK premiere schedule on Tuesday, December 26 at Odeon Cinema Greenwich and the release in British cinemas on Friday, December 29.
Pleased with the outcome, acting Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Andrew Davidson, “We are very proud to be hosting this wonderful film about a British and a Nigerian family brought together through marriage. It’s funny, heart-warming and re-affirms that diverse families and communities can unite through shared values.”

Guests at the screening included, CEO, EbonyLife Films Mo Abudu; Executive Director, EbonyLife Films, Uzoma Onwuchekwa; Head of Communications, British High Commission Wale Adebajo; MD, Union Bank, Emeka Emuwa; Chairman, Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), Ayo Subair, Pat Utomi and other prominent individuals in business, arts and politics, including, Ego Boyo, Lanre Olusola, Nike Oshinowo, NkiruAnumudu, Gbolahan Balogun and Pat Faniran.

Also present were some of the cast and crew – director, Niyi Akinmolayan, Sola Sobowale, Ireti Doyle and Enyinna Nwigwe. The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai is out in the cinemas in Nigeria and across Africa.
