The new music project blends Afrobeats and a variety of genres that reflects Haladin’s personal experience, setbacks, challenges and success in his music career. Few days after the project release, the EP titled track, Consistency, featuring Bhadboi OML, AY Baddest and Stunner Boy BD, gained over 200k play on various music streaming platforms and over 60k use on Tiktok.

Haladin had earlier on September 15 taken to his X handle (formerly Twitter) @iam_haladin to announce the six track project with songs like My Cross, Consistency, Power, Collaborate (featuring Young Duu), Different Vibes (featuring Austyino), and Daily Bread.

“Haladites all around the world, you’ve seen my dedication and consistency. Timing isn’t everything; it’s about persistence and staying power. That’s why I’m proud to announce ‘Consistency, The EP’,” the singer wrote.

Sharing his experience before the breakthrough, the singer who came into the music scene in 2014 said, “I know what it means to face obstacles and giving up. From a football player on the field to pursuing my music career, I have experienced some setbacks and discouragement but I refuse to let that define me.

“I have walked miles to perform at shows, face rejection, no sponsorship but yet I persisted. Keep doing what you do no matter what, your breakthrough is closer than what you think, keep going, consistency is the key,” Haladin added, while encouraging up and coming artistes to remain consistent with their arts and crafts.

With two albums and numerous singles to his credit, the multiple award winner including Countdown Fest ‘Artiste of The Year’ stated that he was inspired by music heavyweights like Tuface Idibia (2Baba), D’Banj Olamide and the late Da’Grin.
