Pastor Paul Emmanuel of The Refiners Embassy has released his long-awaited debut album, The Other Side, alongside seven books.

Pastor Paul Emmanuel of The Refiners Embassy has released his long-awaited debut album, The Other Side, alongside seven books.

The Other Side is a 12-track album that features music stars such as Nosa and Mike Abdul. Some of the tracks include Agbara, My Season, He Has Done Me Well, Amazing, Nothing Too Hard For God and others.

For Emmanuel, everybody loves music; however, at some point, the types of music you listen to are determined by factors determined by inner forces. That’s why his songs are needed for humanity and for people in this season.

Speaking with The Guardian during the album listening party and book launch, he said: “I have been working on the music album since 2019. I went to pray somewhere in May 2019. I had a vision where I saw Sonnie Badu moving from one side to the other, likewise myself and we met in the middle at some point and he asked me what I was doing there. During the conversation, he gave me a baton and I gave him the one I had, he moved to where I was coming from, and I moved to where he too was coming from. I got to understand that from 2019, we are going to see people who are pastors become singers and singers become pastors. Today, Badu is a preacher who started his church.”

On the books, Emmanuel, who also oversees Return/Release/Rainfall of the Apostolic Revivals (ROAR), said: “I have been writing for quite a while but I just figured the time has to be right. I believe that if the books come out in their right seasons, they will make the impact they are supposed to.”

The titles of the books are The Scent of Water, The Tail of the Dragon, Dressing for Destiny, Transformation, The Journey and others.
