Early Life and Education
Blessing Eyo hails from Odukpani Local Government Area in Cross River State and is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eyo, with two brothers. Her father, a barrister, and her mother, a banker, provided a strong educational foundation that shaped her aspirations.

Blessing spent her formative years in Oyigbo, Rivers State, where she attended both primary and secondary school. In 2009, she gained admission to the University of Port Harcourt to study Microbiology, graduating in 2014. She later advanced her education, earning a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.

The Journey into Fashion
Blessing’s passion for fashion was ignited during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in 2014. While participating in the SAHED Skill Acquisition Program, she discovered her talent for tailoring and developed a vision to become a fashion designer.
After completing her service, Blessing began practicing tailoring at home, leveraging her mother’s sewing machine. Determined to hone her skills, she enrolled in a School of Fashion Designing in 2016. Upon completing her training, she opened a small outlet in Oyigbo in 2018, laying the foundation for what would become BeautyPlus Apparel.

To further refine her craft, Blessing attended an advanced training program at Toskyme House of Fashion, which propelled her career to new heights. Relocating to Rumuodomaya, Port Harcourt, she launched a new collection featuring ready-to-wear and corporate attire, showcasing her ability to blend style with functionality.

Blessing’s designs have gained widespread recognition, including participation in Aba Fashion Week 2023. Her commitment to skill development and poverty alleviation led her to partner with Globacom Telecommunications for a Skill Acquisition Program, empowering aspiring entrepreneurs.
