NPFL reschedules Enyimba, River United’s outstanding matches

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has rescheduled the matchday 10 game between Plateau United and Rivers United earlier scheduled for December 25, 2023, to January 10, 2024, while the Katsina United versus Enyimba matchday 12 clash will now hold on January 17, 2024.

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has rescheduled the matchday 10 game between Plateau United and Rivers United earlier scheduled for December 25, 2023, to January 10, 2024, while the Katsina United versus Enyimba matchday 12 clash will now hold on January 17, 2024.

The NPFL in a memo signed by its Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, urged the clubs to ensure necessary logistics were put in place for hitch-free games.

This weekend’s matchday 17 fixtures will hold on Saturday and Sunday across all league venues nationwide.

According to the fixtures, Doma United will host Katsina United in Gombe, while Benin City is the venue for the Bendel Insurance versus Enugu Rangers clash on Saturday.

On Sunday, Shooting Stars will host Bayelsa United in Ibadan, Enyimba will be at home to Sporting Lagos in Aba, Remo Stars and Sunshine Stars will clash in Ikenne, while Gombe United will be at home to Rivers United.

In other Sunday games, Akwa United will host Abia Warriors in Uyo, Niger Tornadoes and Heartland will clash in Minna, while Kwara United will be at home to Lobi Stars, just as Kano Pillars and Plateau United will trade tackles in Kano.
