Teams arrive in Lagos for Zenith Basketball final eight

The eight teams expected to compete for honours in the Final Eight of the 13th Zenith Women Basketball League will arrive in Lagos, venue of the Final Phase, today. Although action will start on Monday at the National Stadium in Surulere, the officials of the teams will be expected to be at a technical meeting tomorrow at the event’s venue.
Already, Zenith Bank has promised to make the 2017 Final Eight a thrilling event for the participating teams and fans of the game.
The eight teams for the final are defending champions, First Bank Basketball Club of Lagos, IGP Queens of Lagos, First Deep Water of Lagos and Plateau Rocks of Jos.
Others for the competition are former champions, Dolphins of Lagos, Customs of Lagos, Delta Force of Asaba and GT2000 of Abuja.
The competition takes place all through next week but the All Star Game is expected to draw the curtains on the event on July 28.
