Diocese of Lagos Mainland holds synod May 25

The Diocese of Lagos Mainland Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), will begin its synod on May 25, 2023 at the Cathedral Church of St. Jude, Ebute Meta, Lagos, where the opening service is expected to hold at 4.00pm.

The Diocese of Lagos Mainland Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), will begin its synod on May 25, 2023 at the Cathedral Church of St. Jude, Ebute Meta, Lagos, where the opening service is expected to hold at 4.00pm. Thereafter, the synod with the theme: “Confirmation, Our Youth, And the Eucharist – Sustenance for The Journey Ahead,” will hold in three venues. The venues are All Saints’ Church, Montgomery Road, Yaba, where the synod meetings will hold from May 26 to 27, 2023 and closing Thanksgiving Service takes place at Anglican Church of the Messiah, Ademowo Crescent Okota, Lagos at 11am.

The Bishop, Rt. Reverend Akinpelu Johnson will deliver his presidential address on May 26, 2023 at All Saints’ Church, Montgomery Road, Yaba at 11.00am.

Meanwhile, Pre-synod Breakfast Fellowship was held yesterday at the Diocesan Headquarters, Cathedral Church of St. Jude Ebute-meta, Lagos.
