Clerics urge Christians to prepare for Christ’s second coming

Christians have been urged to come to God in repentance, as well as prepare for Jesus Christ’s second coming. Christians leaders made the call at El-Rabboni-He 2017 Convection of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, titled: ‘Come out of your insufficiency and wants,’ held in Surulere, Lagos.

The Spiritual Mother and Message Bearer of the church, Dr. Irene Akinwande said Jesus Christ’s second coming is close at hand, and urged Christians and Nigerians to change from their old ways of life and believe in God.

She said: “People should be upright, so that they can have a share in the new kingdom. The new world would be a peaceful one, when Jesus Christ comes. It is not good for anyone to miss the second coming of Christ, as that is where we will spend our eternal life.”

Akinwande explained that the aim of the programme was to preach Jesus Christ’s second coming, as well as make His name known to mankind, as it was given her in a revelation on October 25, 1980, when she had a dream, where Jesus Christ gave her the name El-Miram meaning the Spiritual Mary.

“The voice explained to me that healing power and miracles the name would give to mankind through their faith in Jesus Christ is immeasurable. The voice told me to profess Jesus Christ and prepare people for His second coming. Therefore, I have been counseling the broken hearted and giving hope to the hopeless and those in sorrow.”

Deaconess Clementina Idaomi said: “People should be vigilant and get prepared, especially by paying their tithes and touching lives. People need to be holy and love their neighbours as themselves.”
