Drug addict for 17 years, finds salvation in the Lord’s Chosen

My testimony is about the salvation God granted me on February 19,2023, when I came here. It all started when l followed my uncle to a branch of the Lord’s Chosen, that fateful Sunday and they played a video message of our G.O. Prior to that time, l was a big time drug addict for about 17 years. So after that message, he made an altar call and l raised my hand and he prayed for me. To my greatest surprise, during his prayers l saw myself shedding tears. After service that day, we went home and the next day being Monday, we went to market for our normal business and l decided to visit the joint where we normally take those stuffs. My addiction was so strong that there was no drug I did not take;Indian hemp was nothing to me. I smoked drugs higher than it.

So, on that Monday, l decided to take only Indian hemp and as l finished it and was going back to my shop, it appeared as if my head was about to be blown away; as if l was going mad. In the shop that day, I could not get myself. l was always inside the shop, quite unlike me. My attitude made people to ask if all were well with me. Inwardly, I began to plea for God’s mercy. Ithen promised God that if he delivered me, I would never take drugs again. I seriously pleaded with God and eventually He delivered me. His mercy has finally seen me through. There are some people l led into taking drugs including my younger brother, l pray that as God visited me, He will also visit them and deliver them in Jesus’ name …Amen!

Moreover, God delivered me from other vices, including chasing prostitutes, stealing, cultism among others. In fact, God has been so good to me; I praise his name in Jesus’ name…amen. Most of the drug addicts, their loved ones, usually take them to rehabilitation centres where they pay huge sums of money to rehabilitate them, after that, they go from bad to worse, but here I am, God has done my own automatically, free-of-charge; may His name be glorified in Jesus’ name… Amen!

At this juncture, l advise the youths, please understand that, there is no gain in taking drugs or engaging in immoral lifestyle, rather they will lead you to destruction; so, desist from such and God will bless you and prepare you for eternal life in heaven.
I pray for the G.O., all Chosen members across the world, my family and all that God will grant to us. I wish everyone Heaven hereafter in Jesus’ name …Amen!
