Mark 16:15: “And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Luke: 19:10: “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Believer Sare Christ’s Ambassadors. They are the representatives of Jesus Christ on earth and as such have been given the instructions to occupy the office of the Lord Jesus Christ till His second coming. The primary duty of a true believer is soul winning or evangelism — every believer must know this. It is their priority, of which they must carry out and shine as a light in the darkness because our Lord Jesus Christ is a Light.John 8:12 says: “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 1:5: “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”Matthew 5:14-16says: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

It is very clear that Jesus Christ shone as light in the world and the darkness of this world could not comprehend His light; in fact, He charged all believers to follow Him as a Light, so that, men can see their good works and glorify their Father in heaven. He wants us to shine in righteousness, in the love and goodness of God and in every attribute of Jesus Christ. He wants us to live as light no matter how darkness is knocking on our doors. As Christ shone, God wants us to shine, so that,as many that will see the light in uswill come into God’s kingdom through us.

Also believers should arm themselves with the whole amour of God to enable them shine in the darkness of the world.John 1:29: “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” He came for a purpose and he lived for it; it wasto save sinners from sins, from Satan and from the influence of the world.Luke 19:9 says: “And Jesus said unto him, this day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham.”Matthew 4:19 notes: “And he saith unto them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Believers of old submitted to God’s law, which is Jesus Christ and they lived a Christian life. But Paul’s prayer was that they might be saved and do God’s work. The ministry of a true believer is all souls must be saved because Christ died for the world. Hemade us His Ambassadors to occupy His office and to do the exact work He did while on earth — to seek and to save that which was lost. John 5:36: “But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.”

Jesus worked tirelessly. He never allowed anything to distract Him and he fulfilled that purpose, likewise the apostles; they fulfilled their ministry too. As Christ Ambassadors, we must understand that our duty is to carry on the assignment of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is to seek and to save that which was lost.2Corinth 5:20: “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”
I want you to understand that the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ —to seek and save the lost— should be our mission and nothing else must distract us from it. Heaven at last must be our priority.Luke 19:13 says: “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, occupy till I come.”

We should all be productive; we should not be idle in the church or be a mere bench warmer. We should not be asking God to only give us, rather, we are to preach the word and win souls for God. This should be our duty and if you are not doing it now, you are missing the focus or the reason you are converted. And if you are not committed to that focus and mission, you can find yourself stealing, committing adultery, fornication or doing anything that is against God’s will. But if the focus is burning like a fire in your heart, it will be difficult for you to make a mistake.

Brethren, let us take the advantage of this message and follow the legacy our Master, Jesus Christ, left for us. This is the legacy of being a source of light to the world; the legacy of righteousness and evangelism. We must all be committed to it, if we are God’s children. We must work to fulfill the vision without losing sight of the fact that, our Lord Jesus Christ worked so that, we might be saved. Jesus, who said we are the light of the world instructed that we should work so that our light can shine for men of the world to see it and glorify our father, who is in heaven.John 13:1-2: “Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that His hour was come that He should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them unto the end. And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him.”

No matter wherever we may be, our priority should be to save those that are lost. This is the desire of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must ensure that those virtues including practical righteousness, love of God, humility and compassion are present in our life. We should not allow unrighteousness and bitterness amid us and those who are spiritually weak in Christ Jesus should be encouraged to be strong for the Lord and do exploit for Him. We should put on the virtue of love because love covers multitude of sin; love will make you to forsake all other things to save others. We are also to follow the leadership of our Lord Jesus Christ by keeping His commandments. If child of God is not addicted to preaching the word of God, something must be wrong with him/her because evangelism is the mission of a true believer.John 20:21 says: “Then said Jesus to them again, peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”

The Father had sent Him to go and seek those that are lost. The Lord’s Chosen people must engage themselves in serious preaching of the word because He has commissioned and given us the talents, which must be accounted for, to do so. God has given many of us the talent to win souls and many of us are wasting these talents, which will be accounted for on the last day when there will be nobody on earth to preach to.Isaiah 6:8says: “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”

Let us preach this gospel till the end of our life. Let us warn the people to desist from their evil ways. Let us also askGod to help us and make us committed to His commission.

Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
Selfless Service Brings Stupendous Blessings

My name is David Kolawole Oyede. I am from Ogun State, but I am based in Cotonou, Benin Republic. I joined The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in April 2016 and, my family and I thank God for it. I also appreciate God for granting me genuine salvation.

In 2016, when I was rounding off my studies; by profession, I am an interpreter and have many churches I interpret for. I told my friend, who is a member of this ministry that I would like to interpret for his church, then I was not a member, but he replied that the Lord’s Chosen does not pay interpreters, so, I gave up the idea.

During that period, I had an encounter, where a member of the “Ogboni” fraternity tormented me. The man tormented me in my dreams to the point that I had to run for dear life. In one of the attacks, I ran and hid in an uncompleted building when suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder from behind. Turning, I saw a giant man, who said: “My son, follow me and I woke up.” I later heard a voice that said I should follow my friend to the Lord’s Chosen.

I did as instructed. And on one of the Thursday evening services, I was given the opportunity to interpret and the words of God, I was interpreting sunk in me. The words came like never before and turned my life around,360 degrees, for the better. This made me to stop going to other ministries where I was well paid to interpret and within two months, the Lord took over all my battles. The torment stopped.

Also, my parents were not happy that I joined the Lord’s Chosen, they urged me to leave the church, but I refused, but now all that is over.

In one of the days I was struggling if to worship with the Lord’s Chosen or not, I fasted and prayed for God to reveal our General Overseer to me. The Lord showed me in a dream where General Overseer was amid several angles at his beck and call. I did not understand the dream until I came to the programme, “… And the Enemies Submitted,” held in Lagos. What I saw at the programme confirmed what I saw in that dream.

Moreover, in 2019, our General Overseer visited us in Benin Republic for a programme, titled, “Arrival Of The Master.” I was in the church working, when he came to me and said: “You are blessed.” I claimed it and from that day, God changed my story from being a phone accessories seller to an importer.

In November, I came for, “Hope For The Needy Crusade,” and General Overseer said, we should key into a testifier’s testimony and sow a seed for the forthcoming crusade, which I did with a N100,000 and also redeemed it. After that, anything I touch turns around for my good. Praise the Lord!

I give God all the glory for all He has done in my life, family and business. May His name be glorified forever, amen! I also pray for our General Overseer and his entire family, Chosen pastors, leaders, workers and members worldwide. I wish them heaven at last in Jesus’ name.
