BIS student to represent Nigeria at ICT competition

THE British International School (BIS) has concluded plans to represent Nigeria at the World Information Communication Technology Championship in Dallas, USA, this month.
The competition tagged: ‘PowerPoint 2010’, a category of the Certiport Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) world championship, which emerged Bendre Sidhant of the BIS as the overall best at the national level of the competition, is open to ages between 13 to 22 years.
A statement from the school, disclosed that Sidhant would therefore represent the country at the international level.
BIS said the world championship in Dallas avails him an opportunity to win up to $7,000 in scholarship funds.
