Children of the Revolution is PHWBC’s Book-Of-The-Month

Dinaw Mengestu’s Children of the Revolution is February’s Book-Of-The-Month for UNESCO Port Harcourt World Book Capital 2014. The reading, discussion and dramatisation session will hold on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt. Time is 3pm and entry is free. Mengestu’s Children of the Revolution is a warm and illuminating tale of immigrant hopes and the role of memory.

Gidi Culture Festival to hold April 4th at Eko Atlantic

The Gidi Culture Festival hits Lagos once again on Saturday, April 4, 2015. The one-‐day beach festival will starts in the afternoon with activities ranging from beach soccer to The Melting Pot; an African food court, offering dishes from all over Nigeria, and of course live band music. At night, the main stage lights up with Africa’s best entertainers, hosts and DJs.
