Felabration was instituted in 1998 by the children of the legendary Nigerian singer and has since become one of the most anticipated music events in Nigeria.

As a part of the activities marking the 2016 edition of Felabration, an annual celebration of the life, ideals and work of late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, fans took to the street of Lagos to celebrate his legacy with a carnival.
Felabration was instituted in 1998 by the children of the legendary Nigerian singer and has since become one of the most anticipated music events in Nigeria.
