Luisbenz… Afrobeats star gunning for gold

Luisbenz is not your average 23-year-old singer. Born Joshua K. Chuks-Uguru, making music fulfilling destiny. After starting his career, in 2017, making freestyles and gradually honing his craft, he made his professional debut with his “Benz or Nothing” EP, in 2020. The career-defining release that showcased his artistry; his Angel-like vocals, commanding delivery, immaculate pen game, and a promise of what he has in stock.

Luisbenz documents his life journey through his music delivery, a one-of-one experience for his listeners, where they get to enjoy relatable real life experiences on one hand and get soul pleasing music on the other hand.

After the release of his debut EP, Luisbenz released “Japa” in 2021, a follow up single and went on a hiatus. He is making a much anticipated return with his sophomore 5 track E.P titled “My Opps and Downs”, a collection of his experiences and reflections that happened during his hiatus.

With musical inspirations from Fela, Santana, Oliver de Coque, Burna Boy, Luisbenz is destined for the top.
