Bluetti, a global leader in clean energy solutions, has introduced sustainable energy alternatives to the Nigerian market, providing innovative solar power solutions to address the escalating fuel price.

With the recent hike in fuel price, the firm aims to empower Nigerian businesses and households with reliable, cost-effective and environmentally friendly energy options.

“Nigeria has experienced a significant increase in fuel price over the past few months, causing financial strain on businesses and households nationwide. The escalating costs of traditional fuel sources have not only impacted the economy but also contributed to environmental pollution and carbon emissions. In response to this pressing issue, Bluetti brings its state-of-the-art solar power solutions to Nigeria, offering a viable alternative to traditional fossil fuels,” the company said.

Speaking about the products, Bluetti’s Global Marketing Manager, Benjamin Yan, said: “Due to a weak grid power supply, 40 per cent of Nigerian households use generators and spend $14 billion on fuel, according to a report. The recent spike in fuel price increases household energy expenditure or sometimes puts them into darkness again.

“Luckily, there is a way out with the help of BLUETTI, a leading brand in the energy storage industry. It provides solar generators, an easy and sustainable power solution to get electricity for free.”

Yan noted that solar generators harness the power of the sun to generate electricity.

“They usually consist of an inverter, battery and photovoltaic panels (PV) that convert sunlight into usable energy, which is then stored in a battery for later use.

“As we all use and know, fuel generators convert the chemical energy of gasoline into mechanical energy and then into electrical energy. Let’s compare the two in terms of the following aspects and find out which type is better,” Yan said.
