Fidelity Bank unveils save4shelter scheme
FIDELITY Bank Plc has unveiled the ‘Save 4 Shelter’ Promo as part of its contribution towards bridging the housing deficit in Nigeria.
The initiative, which started on August 18, is also a veritable instrument for advancing the quest for financial inclusion in the country.
A total of three duplexes in prime locations in Lekki, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja will be won bi-Monthly while N35 million rent support will be won at an average of N5.5 million per month all through the six month period of the promo.
The Head, Savings Group, Fidelity Bank, Mrs. Janet Nnabuko, said that the promotion’s target audience consists of both existing and new savings account customers.
We have entrenched the year savings promo in our marketing strategy to encourage and reward our customers as they continued banking with us. “The Save4 Shelter is going to have monthly draws and bi-monthly draws. That means every month we are going to conduct draws and people will win the rent support prize.
You can win rent support of ₦N2 million, ₦N1 million and ₦500, 000 in the monthly draws when you open a savings account and grow your balance to ₦20,000 or top up your existing account with ₦10,000 monthly,” she said.
According to her, draws for three duplexes will be conducted for every two months and customers are expected to open any savings account and grow the balance to N50,000 or top existing account with N50,000 monthly to qualify for the bi-monthly draws.
She urged all customers both existing and new to fund their account monthly to benefit from the loyalty. The bank’s Regional Head, Apapa, and Chairman of the Save4Shelter promo Committee, Obaro Odeghe, said the overall strategy of the bank is in line with the financial inclusion of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), as there is a lot of the unbanked in the country.
In line with our retail strategy, we encourage and also reward customers for their loyalty over the years. The total amount budgeted for this promo is ₦150 million and it will be given out to three places- Port-Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos.
We also have prize for rent support and we have first prizes- N2 million, N1 million and ₦500,000, as well as consolation prizes like fridges and generators. “We want to be number one in every market we serve and for every branded products that we offer.
We want to be the one stop bank for all our customers and that has been our strategy,” he said. Also, the Divisional Head, Retail Bank, Richard Madiebo, reiterated that the financial institution will give a total of ₦35 million rent supports during the period, won during the draws at an average of ₦5.5 million monthly.
