Stanbic IBTC rewards 875 customers
In a bid to encourage saving culture, Stanbic IBTC has rewarded 875 customers for their loyalty.
The company at the grand finale of its Reward4Saving promo 3.0 in Lagos rewarded seven customers from seven business zones of the bank with the grand prize of N2 million each, while another seven savers got N1 million each. Also, 70 winners others were rewarded with N100,000 each. In total, 875 customers were rewarded in its third season across 12 months.
Officially presenting the prizes at a ceremony in Lagos, Executive Director, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Olu Delano said: “Our current savings promo goes beyond mere celebration; it is proof of our dedication to promoting financial inclusion and advocating for responsible financial practices.
“Through this initiative, our goal is to commend their prudent financial behaviour and encourage a broader segment of the population to recognise and adopt the merits of financial discipline,”
According to him, by fostering consistent saving habits, individuals can secure their financial future and enjoy a range of additional rewards.
He said the selection process was conducted electronically and supervised by representatives from the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), to ensure fairness and transparency.
First introduced in 2021, he said the Reward4Saving initiative was devised as a strategic promo to encourage Nigerians to develop saving habits by allowing them to participate in monthly, quarterly and grand finale draws to win cash prizes.
So far, 1,942 customers has been rewarded with N318 million. The promo has also won the ‘Most Transparent Consumer Promotion’ award for two consecutive years at the Industry Awards.
The winners applauded the bank for the gesture, promising their continued loyalty.
A two-time winner, Afolabi Saheed, who won in Season 2 and Season 3, said he did not believe that he won N2 million when he got a call from the bank, but the reality later dawned on him, when he got to the venue.
