WEPDN @ 5, seeks growth of women entrepreneurs

In commemoration of its fifth anniversary, members of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Development Network (WEPDN) have stressed the need for women to build sustainable economic growth.
In commemoration of its fifth anniversary, members of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Development Network (WEPDN) have stressed the need for women to build sustainable economic growth.
The event, which was themed, ‘Building resilience for sustainable economic and financial growth’ was attended by high profile personalities and stakeholders.
Remarking, WEPDN President Affiong Ibanga disclosed that the goal of the organisation is to help women access global markets and engage in international trade, leverage on development programmes, training and business support services.”
In her keynote speech, Rita Babalola suggested entrepreneurs should embrace SWOT analysis which represents Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats.
“Entrepreneurs should collaborate, diversify, develop passive income, embrace mentorship and leverage social media.”
