Accountability coach, author and speaker, Michelle Omiyale, has stressed the need to drive change through purposeful living and the power of accountability.
Disclosing this recently, she shared how her expertise helps individuals stay on track with their goals, build confidence and create meaningful transformations in their lives.
Noting that accountability and purposeful living are essential ladders to success, Omiyale stated that her journey into coaching and personal development began during one of life’s most challenging moments.
“Over six years ago, I lost my husband, which left me in a place of uncertainty and grief. Through faith, structure and reflection, I began to heal and discovered the transformative power of accountability,”
“All of these experiences gave me structure when everything else felt uncertain and helped me move forward, one step at a time.”
“Accountability is about support; It’s having someone walk with you, remind you of your goals and help you keep going when you feel stuck.”
Her coaching sessions, which include weekly phone check-ins and monthly meetups, provide clients with the opportunity not just to track progress, but also to celebrate wins, learn from setbacks and remain connected to what matters most.
She noted that many people set goals but struggle to follow through as life grows busier and motivation fades.
“When you know someone is going to ask how you’re doing, you show up differently, think more clearly, take action and stay focused.”
Omiyale also highlights a broader challenge: the need for professional accountability is often underestimated.
“People haven’t really seen the need to embrace accountability professionals, but in a world full of distractions—from gadgets to the endless scroll of the internet—having someone to hold you responsible is essential to achieving your goals.”
Omiyale is also a published author with works including Anchored on the Faithfulness of God, a story of healing and hope after loss; Vision, Dreams and Goals: As Far As My Eyes Can See, a guide to living intentionally; and Journey With God: 365 Days of Scripture, Encouragement and Action, a devotional for daily growth.
She also mentors young leaders, speaks at events and shares encouragement through her blog and social media.
By combining structured guidance and regular accountability, she equips people to overcome procrastination, maintain focus and pursue goals with clarity.
