Miss Curvy Africa Reality TV to host beauty queens in Uganda

Preparations are on top gear as the organisers of Miss Curvy Africa Reality TV Show announced the 2022 edition of the show slated for November 25 in Uganda.

The beauty pageant would usher beautiful plus-sized women in Africa to Miss Curvy Africa Reality TV show.

Themed Celebrating African Women, the Co-founder and Executive Producer of the Show, Ibitayo Buhari, revealed made the announcement in Lagos.

According to her, the show will be held in Kampala, Uganda, where 28 ladies across Africa countries would be camping for 14 days.

Also speaking, official producer and founder, Miss Curvy in Uganda, Annie Mungoma, explained the show modalities.

“The event would attract top celebrities from all over Africa and prominent personalities in the fashion industry, which the viewers must not miss,” she said.

“We are proud of these queens. We want the world to watch out. It’s a global pride for Nigeria to host the Miss Curvy Africa Reality TV show graced by top-notch celebrities in the both entertainment industry and hospitality and tourism,” she added.

Chief Executive Officer/founder, Mr. Olamide Silver disclosed that the show would be staged annually in different African countries.

He appealed to NGOs and corporate organisations to support the show in order to project better brand visibilities and values.

The Company Director, Mr. Sunday Ibraheem, said the potential winner will outshined other contestants from other countries at the event to become the 2022 edition of Miss Curvy Africa Reality TV show Queen.

“After the series of tough auditions, qualified 20 ladies will be welcomed to the adventure camp,” he said.

The host, Miss Amanda, said the show would be one of its kinds, saying that there will be online audition.

She noted that the requirement include ladies with size 14 and above with age prerequisite ranging from 18 years to 40 years.

She said, “The winner would outshine other contestants from other countries at the event to become 2022 edition of Miss Curvy Africa Reality TV show.

“After the series of tough auditions, qualified 20 ladies are welcomed to the adventure camp. The camp will help the contestants to interpret our rich African culture to the world.

“The queens will chart away different beauty titles such as Miss Curvy Africa Bold and Beautiful, Best Model of the year, Miss Curvy Africa Reality TV Show, Miss Curvy Africa Tourism, Miss Curvy Africa Global, Miss Curvy Africa Fitness and Miss Curvy Africa Culture.

“The winner first runner up. Second runner up, 3rd runner up and, fourth runner up. Prior to the grand finale of the event, the ladies will be camped in a Five-Star Hotel. The ladies were there for 10 days with the most luxury hospitality and this enabled the organisers to achieve a lot of contents that has to do with culture and tourism.”

Production Director, Mr. Adebola Adigun said the kind of content to be expected on the TV would unite, educate, embrace and promote our African Culture and Heritage. The audience should expect drama, acting, music and fashion among others.

Pageant Manager, Miss Rita Osusu said the show is not just a pageant but a TV show to entertain the audience and as a means of self value as the show preaches moral, peace and unity, stating that the contestants also had the opportunity to meet with celebrities.

The highpoint of competition is really tough as none of the contestants were be left behind, hence, the judges announced the top 10 ladies on most gorgeous dinner gowns. Local and foreign partners would proudly support the show.
