Golden Eaglets Paint Abuja With Goals

Score 10 In Two Games, Relocate To Katsina
Nigeria’s U-17 side, Golden Eaglets, has once again proven their worth in goal scoring preparatory for the Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, as they netted 10 goals in two warm-up matches before relocating from Abuja to Katsina for closed-camping.
The Coach Emmanuel Amuneke-led Golden Eaglets thrashed Nwauudo Foundation FC Academy of Gboko 7-0 before recording another 3-0 victory against Santos Academy of Abuja on Friday.
Before leading a team of 35 players and eight officials to Katsina yesterday, Amuneke charged the players to remain focused on the task ahead.
According to thenff.com, the Golden Eaglets would be accommodated at Doubletree Hilton for the first game against USA, when hostilities begin in Chile in October.
The Team Administrator, Tayo Egbaiyelo, who attended a recent FIFA U-17 World Cup workshop conducted by FIFA in Santiago, said that the team would stay at Sheraton Miramar Hotel & Convention Centre in Vina del Mar for the match against host country, Chile, and at Coquimbo Hotel De La Hahia for the match against Croatia.
