We’re halfway through the year, and this July, the weather calls for meals that are light, comforting, and satisfying, without compromising on flavour or nutrition. Here’s what we’re loving this season.

Breakfast

Yoghurt bowl with fresh fruit, nuts and granola

We’re starting our mornings with colour. This combo packs in creamy yoghurt for gut health, vitamin-rich fruits, and nuts and granola for that satisfying crunch. It’s a perfect balance of fibre, protein, and energy.

Midday Snack

Juicy fruit slices

Sweet, tangy, and packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, sliced fruits like pineapples and oranges are our go-to refreshments between meals. Better still, it supports digestion and gives a gentle energy boost.

Lunch

Grilled chicken, baked potatoes and mixed vegetables

Light, filling, and easy to meal prep ahead of time, this balanced plate is packed with protein, fibre, healthy carbs, and vitamins. It’s a satisfying lunch that’ll keep you going through the day.

Fresh Juice

Watermelon and mint juice

Light, refreshing, and naturally sweet, this blend is a seasonal staple that’s perfect for hot afternoons. Watermelon is rich in water content and lycopene to help beat the heat, while mint adds a refreshing twist.

Dinner

Grilled fish with vegetables

For a nourishing end to the day, we’re keeping it clean and simple. Grilled fish provides heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, while lightly sautéed or steamed vegetables bring antioxidants and essential nutrients.

Cocktail

Mimosa

Ideal for slow mornings and celebratory toasts, nothing kicks off brunch quite like a mimosa. Light, bubbly, and citrusy, it’s a crowd-pleaser that never goes out of style. Prefer it sweeter? Add a bit more orange juice or use a fruitier sparkling wine.

Salad

Fresh vegetable salad with grilled chicken breast

Colourful, crunchy, and protein-packed, this salad is our go-to when we want something light but satisfying. Tossed with cucumbers, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and slices of perfectly grilled chicken breast, it’s filling without weighing you down.

Comfort Bowl

Chicken pepper soup

Nothing beats pepper soup for this (or any) season. Light yet deeply flavourful, this broth is packed with herbs, spices, and tender chicken pieces. Whether you’re nursing a cold or just need warmth in a bowl, it hits the spot every time.
