Game Of Thrones Finale: An Algorithm Predicts Who Dies And Lives
As the Game of Thrones season 8 premiere draws near, a group of students from the Technical University of Munich, Germany have decided to put us out of our misery of anticipation. This is because these students have developed a program on who will live and die in the series.
The program titled, A Song of Ice and Dara uses longevity data to determine who stays on the Iron Throne. This program, the project’s manager Guy Yachdav, explains “relies on data taken from the world of fantasy, the exact same artificial intelligence techniques are used in the real world.”
The program predicts that Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister (3%), Varys (3%), Samwell Tarly (3%), and Jaime Lannister (4.0%) have low chances of dying while Bronn’s death stands at a 93.5% chance. Gregor “the Mountain” Clegane, Sansa Stark, Bran Stark, and Sandor are among those who may also take the strike.
