Foundation seeks solution to hearing problem
With about 6.7 per cent of Nigeria’s population having hearing impairment according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), Kemi Remi-Dairo Hearing Foundation is raising awareness to reduce the rate of hearing loss in the country.
To achieve this, the foundation will hold a thanksgiving service on Sunday, Dec. 16 at Victory Place 15, Ikeja, with the theme: ‘Raising super heroes of sound in Nigeria.’
A book written by the CEO, Kemi Remi-Dairo and titled My Silence World will be launched at the event to inspire those faced with hearing challenge.
The author in the book narrated her ordeals on how she lost her hearing and possible solution that came her way through international hearing foundation.
