Kidnapped Ekiti APC chairman regains freedom
The All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman in Ekiti State, Paul Omotosho, that was recently kidnapped by gunmen has regained his freedom.
Ekiti State Police Command announced his freedom in a statement.
According to the Command, two other persons also kidnapped alongside Omotosho have been freed.
The Command expressed gratitude to everyone who made it possible for the victims to regain their freedom.
Also, the Command revealed that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the abduction.
“This breakthrough was made possible through the combined efforts of the Police, other sisters agencies, the local security outfits and the family members as well as the Ekiti State government,” police said.
“While appreciating the good spirited members of the public for their concern and relentless supports, the Command states that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and are supplying useful information that could lead to the arrest of the prime suspects who are currently at large.”
