Kogi govt condemns attack on Ajaka at Supreme Court
The Kogi State Government has condemned the attack on Alh. Muritala Yakubu Ajaka at the Supreme Court, following the ruling on electoral litigation involving the governors of Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa states.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo described the incident as “barbaric,” “uncivilised,” and a grave danger to the institution of justice, urging Nigerians to shun self-help and promote constitutionalism and unity.
Ododo, through his Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, implores the law enforcement agencies to fish out the perpetrators and make them face the full wrath of the law to serve as a deterrent to others as well as protect the integrity and safety of our court environments across the country.
“We urge all Nigerians to support the path of constitutionalism and unity, which are the core values of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration,” Femi Fanwo said.
“We all must support his lofty policies and values for the progress and development of our dear nation.”
