Lagos announces 24-hour closure of Third Mainland Bridge

The Lagos State Government has said there will be a 24-hour closure of the Third Mainland Bridge.
This temporary closure is necessary to allow contractors to perform critical repairs on the bridge, according to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s spokesperson, Jubril Gawat.
He noted that the ongoing repair works on the bridge will affect both bounds of the carriageways.
He added that closure will begin at noon on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, and remain in effect until noon on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
