The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced a statewide tour of Hajj Induction Courses at various centres in the state.

This is contained in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Sulaiman Dederi on Monday in Kano.

The Director -General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Danbappa, said the move would ensure proper guidance and preparation for intending pilgrims.

Danbappa , represented by the Director of Education and Enlightenment, Alhaji Murtala Sani, urged intending pilgrims to submit their international passports before the stipulated deadline to facilitate smooth processing.

Earlier, the Health Matters Coordinator, Alhaji Bello Karaye, cautioned the pilgrims on the use of medication while in Saudi Arabia.

He assured them of adequate provision for their welfare and essential needs by the state government.
