Solution FunCity is redefining Anambra’s leisure, tourism landscape – Chukwudi Ezenwa

Chukwudi Ezenwa, the visionary designer and contractor handling Lot 1 of the Solution FunCity project in Awka, has described the development as a bold testament to Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s commitment to transforming Anambra into a thriving economic and tourism hub.

Speaking after a recent tour of the facility by Governor Soludo and other prominent Ndi Anambra, Ezenwa reflected on the remarkable journey of bringing the leisure and recreational complex to life. He emphasised that Solution FunCity is not just another infrastructure project but a landmark development that showcases Anambra’s boundless potential under a progressive leadership.

“The Solution FunCity is more than an entertainment hub; it is a catalyst for economic growth, job creation, and urban renewal,” Ezenwa stated. He noted that the project, built to world-class standards, will serve as a premier destination for leisure, recreation, and tourism—not just for Anambra but for Nigeria and beyond.

The facility features a state-of-the-art water park, a dynamic family fun centre, a world-class sports park, and an exclusive country club. Ezenwa believes that with these attractions, Solution FunCity will draw millions of visitors annually, generating significant revenue and boosting the state’s economy.

Ezenwa, popularly known as Chuky GSS, commended Governor Soludo’s foresight in prioritising tourism as a key driver of economic transformation. He stressed that projects like Solution FunCity are not just about revenue generation but also play a vital role in redefining Awka’s identity and positioning it as a modern, vibrant city that reflects the excellence and aspirations of Ndi Anambra.

Expressing deep gratitude to the governor for entrusting GSS Real Estate and Construction with such a monumental project, Ezenwa stated, “As a young professional, this level of trust and confidence from a leader of his calibre is both humbling and empowering. It reaffirms that homegrown talent, when given the right opportunities, can build world-class infrastructure that stands the test of time. Our team is fully committed to delivering a facility that aligns with the governor’s vision of excellence.”

He also acknowledged the support and interest shown by notable figures such as former Secretary General of the Commonwealth Chief Emeka Anyaoku, Sir Emeka Offor, and other distinguished Ndi Anambra, whose encouragement continues to inspire the realisation of this historic project.
