Yusuf, 52, needs N7 million for kidney transplant
MR. Sule Yusuf is a 52-year- old father of four. He is a renal failure patient at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos, who needs N7 million for a kidney transplant, though he presently undergoes dialysis thrice a week at the newly established Renal Clinic of the hospital.
According to a family member, Mr. Segun Shodipe: “The enormous financial task of the weekly dialysis he undergoes at present is crippling the family and he is desperately in need of funds from good-spirited Nigerians.”
With reference to the letter by the Consultant Physician and Nephrologist, Dr. Busari A.A., “the patient will eventually need a kidney transplantation, which will cost between N 6 million – N7 million. He will also need to continue the maintenance hemodialysis until he gets the kidney transplantation done.”
“We, therefore, plead for humanitarian financial assistance from good philanthropic citizens of Nigeria towards the three times weekly dialysis and the final kidney transplantation.
Yusuf’s condition is quite pathetic as he is said to be out of job and his wife, a petty trader in Lagos Island. The four children are presently in school.
“Shodipe called on kind-hearted individuals and corporate organisations to assist the familyby paying into Sule Yusuf, Skye Bank Account Number 1010517905 or call 08050543754.
